Dollar-for-dollar Match.
In recent years, the need for homeless services in Lancaster County has grown dramatically. Today, we face a housing and homelessness crisis—and action is required. The Clay Street Emergency Shelter provides one of the most critical resources for our community: a safe, dry place to sleep. This low-barrier emergency shelter in Lancaster offers 85 year-round beds for adults experiencing homelessness and has served more than 500 individuals. Beyond shelter, residents work with trained case managers to connect with community resources, address barriers, and take steps toward achieving permanent housing. Our mission is to maintain and expand access to a permanent emergency shelter in Lancaster County—ensuring safety, stability, and hope for those experiencing homelessness.
