Lancaster County (County) and the City of Lancaster (City) are providing this notice announcing the availability of Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) and Emergency Solutions Grant Coronavirus (ESG-CV) funds provided to the County and City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as enabled in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) (Public Law 116-136).
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster (Authority), on behalf of the County, and City have developed a joint application to request proposals from organizations seeking CDBG-CV and ESG-CV CARES Act funding to prevent, prepare for and respond to COVID-19.
Applications for programs or activities supporting housing and homelessness, public services and facilities, and economic development will be accepted between Thursday May 14 and Thursday, May 28, 2020. During the application period, the County and City will also accept applications for financial assistance from existing HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funded projects.
