Lancaster County Housing Authority

The Housing Authority is seeking a Tenant Services Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for administration of rental assistance activities related to tenant participation.

Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include:

  • Perform intake interviews with voucher holders and review program regulations.
  • Maintains files using computer database software.
  • Review initial applications for housing assistance and interview applicants to determine eligibility for voucher programs.
  • Negotiates rent, approves leases and prepares contracts for initial lease-ups.
  • Responds to inquiries from program participants regarding moving, including transfers to other housing authorities, and initiates the administrative processes for moves and transfers that occur.
  • Maintains tenant participant files, includes documentation of conversations and actions taken.

This is a full time with anticipated compensation of $42,800 - $53,500 per year, and benefits. This is an entry level role and candidates should three-six months of relevant experience.
