Office for the Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition
The Office for the Coalition is seeking a Homeless Housing Program Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating entry-level homelessness services within the Lancaster County Continuum of Care (COC). This role involves collaborating with contracted partners and interested organizations, evaluating system processes, and ensuring the effective delivery of services for individuals experiencing homelessness across Lancaster County.
Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- System Coordination and Performance: Oversees the coordination and performance of entry-level homelessness services, including street outreach, coordinated assessment, emergency shelters, and innovative programs for unsheltered individuals.
- Partner Relationships and Collaboration: Builds and maintains strong relationships with service providers, community stakeholders, and government agencies.
- Program Development and Implementation: Develops and implements innovative programs and strategies to address the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Advocacy and Outreach: Advocates for policies and funding that support effective homelessness prevention and intervention strategies.
This is a full time with anticipated compensation of $54,000 - $67,500 per year, and benefits. Candidates should have a bachelors degree in a relevant subject as well as three years of experience in homelessness services, community engagement and organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A masters degree is preferred.
