for over 40 years

  • 1974: The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster is chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and established 

  • 1981: The Housing Authority of the County of Lancaster is established. The joint authorities function administering various programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on behalf of the County of Lancaster

  • 2016: The Lancaster Redevelopment Fund, Inc. is created to serve as a non-profit fundraising arm for the Redevelopment Authority

  • 2017: The Lancaster Land Bank Authority is established to expand the impact and reach of blight remediation efforts in Lancaster County

  • 2022: The Offices for the Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition and Reentry Coalition are relocated to the Lancaster County Redevelopment Authority, which support the coalitions through the provision of staff, office space, and a nonprofit fundraising mechanism
